Position Title: Sharepoint Consultant

Location: Boston

Your duties will include interacting with user, business and executive groups to help define the client's needs and translating those needs into a solution of value. As a partner to our client's we do what is necessary to help them be a success. General Experience:

Microsoft Centric Projects - 4+ years
Overall development experience - 6+ years
Experience with .NET servers and tools required
Prior consulting / contracting experience
Web site design and development experience in a Microsoft environment
Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in Computer Science or related field

Specific Experience:

Solid understanding of Microsoft IW principles including supporting technologies such as SharePoint Technologies (Windows SharePoint Services v2 & v3, SharePoint Portal Server 2003, Office SharePoint Server 2007, Office System, InfoPath and Forms Services.
Sharepoint development experience required: e.g. development of custom Web Parts, CAML customization.
Experience with using WSS (Windows SharePoint Services) sites in conjunction with SPS (SharePoint Portal Server) preferred.

Development Languages:

ASP.NET Utilized on 2+ projects or for at least 2 years
VB.NET or C# Utilized on 2+ projects or for at least 2 years
Microsoft T-SQL Utilized on 4+ projects or for at least 4 years

Responsibilities:

SharePoint Design - Consults with customers to identify SharePoint requirements.
Designs and configures SharePoint installations.
Develops and implements workflow solutions based on Windows Workflow engine.
Develops and implements InfoPath forms / Form Server solutions.
.NET development within the SharePoint framework.

Soft Skills:

Diplomatic (all great consultants display this trait)
Technically adept (you have current skills and are able to deploy them across a variety of projects and solutions)
Communication (you can converse with customer and team members of all levels)
Committed (to the your customer, your team and your project)
