Role Responsibilities:
As a Burntsand consultant, your duties will include interacting with user, business and executive groups to help define the client's needs and translating those needs into a solution of value. As a partner to our clients, we do what is necessary to help them be a success. The ability to empathize with and understand the business needs of the client is one of the single most important characteristics you bring to the job as well as a great attitude toward teamwork and superb technical ability. You will:
- Work closely with users and visual designers to develop user friendly (ie functional, fast and intuitive) sites for clients whether they are intranet or extranet sites
- Work effectively with multi-disciplinary teams including customer stakeholders, project managers, business analysts, designers, developers, testers, and systems personnel
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle
Role Requirements:
- Understanding of business, Website Design.
- A passion for usability and website design
- Excellent ability to develop in ASP.Net
- Understanding and experience in themes, master pages, accessibility standards
- CSS and HTML expertise
- Flash and/or Silverlight experience
- Strong English language skills (oral and written)
- Some WSS or MOSS 2007 development would be an asset
- An interest and aptitude for business problems
- A focus on customer service and delivery
- Highly organized
- Able to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- Team Player - ability to wear different "hats" at different times
